1.Appearances
Japanese people really care about their appearances when they are in the public.Clothes, hair style and shoes are all very important to Japanese people. Even in the Japanese companies, they always required workers to wear uniform while they are working.there are four reminders below:

• showing respect to other people
• take off your clothes and shoes when you enter Japanese people's house
• only take off your clothes and coat after you do not get permission
• whenever how hot is the weather, always wear formal dress and suit when you are attending meeting and events

2. Gifts
Giving gifts is a very important to Japanese people.  it could be happened when somebody is having a child, getting married, or birthday. When Japanese people are doing business, they always will bring a gift to their partner to show their welcome. Japanese cultural is a low context culture. giving and accepting gifts is related their face issue. Giving gift will help them built the relationship with partner. if you tend to give a gift to the Japanese people here are some tips for you.

• don't use comb as a gift, because the pronunciation of comb in Japanese similar to death
• don't make your gift's color to be black or white, because it is for death person
• try to make your gift to be couple, Japanese people feel that will be match and perfect. 

3. Language
number four and number thirteen means bad luck. when you are at any happy and wedding event, trying to avoid any words related to death and bitter.when you are in the conversation with Japanese people, Japanese people do not talking about people's weakness like short, fat and old.

Due to the weather is really bad at Eugene.Our group will create a new business to selling rain boots at Eugene, OR. Our company name will be Sunshine. we will also sell other rain stuff as well. in order to have a sufficient business plan, we separates our works into six parts:

• The market
• Competition
• Business Model/Financial projections
• Conclusion

we have four partners in our group. each of us will have in charge of one part. we also figure that The market will be the most imp0rtant and hard part. three members of us will responsible for it together.

Korean Business Cultural

For international business person, doing business in foreign countries will bring cross cultural problems/ challenges. people from different countries may greet people differently. this blog i will be discusses about Korean international greeting and meeting. Understanding ones cultural ways of doing things such as culture, attitudes and etiquette is a useful way of establishing good interpersonal relationships which can case the business process.

doing business with south Korean people and people from all over the world is dress code is very important. First impression in a suit and tie can show professional. Men and women greet each other with a slight bow, at a 30 angle the bigger the bow the more respect you give to that person. same people greet with 90 bows. in south Korean business culture women and men also use hand shakes as well. 

Addressing people by their tittle and family name is important. Names can mean relationships has been establish, but it is best that you let your Korean business partner establish this change. Korean likes to carry business cards with them and hand them out to people. Having your business cards translated in the back can give you the advantage because people feel more comfortable seeing things in their own language. Giving gifts at the first meeting is to give favors and building relationships. Some people will bring food, some people will brings cigarettes or alcohol to show their kindness. Try to avoid giving expensive gifts because this will require the receiver to match the value when they reciprocate. when offerd a gift it is only polite to other some initial resistance. After second or third initial resisitance, it would be best to accept gifts are not usally open in front of the giver.

Most Korean like to meet between 10:00 am to 12:00pm or 2:00pm to 4:00pm. unless there are other requests, Korean people are busy and necrotic they may dun late so try not to bring up and negativity. being aware of the cross cultural. awareness in meeting attitudes and business protocol will always enhance your business trip and maximizing your potential at a business meeting.

Made in China 中国制造

i comes from China, which means i made in China. People says 80% daily products are all made in China. Many people complain about products that shows "made in China" are low quality compare to products that made in Germany or France. i want to argue with these people, because these three important reason below

• Low Price
• Large Quantities
• Speed 

Now i will explain why. Firstly, everybody knows that generally products that are made in China will have have a lower price than the same products that are made from other country. In order to keep a lower price, our qualities will absolutely less than other products. If you are rich people, you can go buy a expensive products. Daily products actually do not have much different between made in China products with other products. Secondly, due to satisfy large companies requirements, Chinese manufacturing must lower the quantity to finish the task. We all know that companies outsourcing their products to China, because we have a lower labor cost. If you could pay more many for labor cost, we could also make some high quantities products. Finally, Chinese factory in order to increase their manufacture speed to satisfy daily needed, they must lower their quality.  Countless reasons that force Chinese products will have lower quality in general compare with other county's products.  However, we still have higher quality product. Another point is that without Chinese products i don't think people's life going to like right now. i am proud of my home country. i love products that are made in China.

These two articles that published yesterday are all talking about the new iphone4S. When i surfing online this morning, almost every website put iphone4S news on their top news. "Apple has received more than a million pre-orders for the iphone4S in a single day, toppling the previous record of 600,000 set by the iphone4 last year."the company says. this really simple sentence shacked my mind. is it true? the first article also said that Apple could surpass a previous prediction of 25 million units sold during the holiday quarter that ends with December. it maybe just a week ago. people were just worried about the Apple's future because the death of the Steve Jobs. we cant not doubt Steve jobs' important to Apple. after his death, million's of people pray for this smartest person in the world. he is the one make Apple successfully. his hard-working and contributes is countless. however from the iphone4S's pre-order report, we dont need to worry about Apple company. people still trust Apple. some people might also think that this is the last product that steve jobs worked. in order to make sure company's future development, Apple's new boss said jobs already have a four years blueprint of company. Apple also have their new campus that would be hold about 12,000 employees. everything about Apple seems work really good right now.

in my point of view, no one could really predict that what is Apple's look like. it all depends on how is the new CEO lead the new brand Apple. lots of people said steve jobs is the soul of Apple, because he made every things happened. he made iphone, ipod, itouch. however, i also trust that there will be another "steve jobs" could make new iproducts. what we really need to learn from him is his spirit. The reason of his success is his enthusiasm of what he loved including his work, his family and his Apple. im going to buy a iphone4S, because i trust steve jobs, and Apple.inc. Apple's international market is huge. they still got lots of change to develop in the future. they put iphone4S's price really low, because they are trying to make people who is using other brand smart-phone to be their new customer. they are trying to capture the whole smart phone market in the world.

About Me

I am from mainland of China, Beijing. I am senior student right now and major in marketing. i want to finish my college degree and being a successful international businessman. Because i am interested in doing some international business in the future, i started to build my international background.I am taking BA361 which is about cross-culture communication and MKTG470 which is about international marketing. I also studied aboard to Italy and traveled Europe last year. I already have quite few sense of two biggest international business center which is Europe and China. The basic technique of doing international business is being able to communicate with different culture and language background people. so it makes business writing at a critical place.  i wish i could improve my business writing skills after i finish this class. so my generally topic in this blog is about international business especially business in Asian and Europe. i will talk about different business culture and work environment at these two big business areas.
